Les weaves lovely wall hangings and pillows in the Swedish “rep” style. Very simply stated, “rep” is a traditional rug design usually characterized by a close-set, highly colorful warp bound with alternating thick and thin weft shots. This technique produces the lovely color changes that you see here. Les donates proceeds from the sale of his work to charities serving seniors, children, and families. Hanging measures 26½ by 42 inches long and is mounted on a wooden frame designed to collapse for shipment and storage. It is wired to hang either horizontally or vertically. |
