“Morning Glory” is one of master-quilter Juanita Yeager’s triumphs. “My art is about color,” she says, “and the joy I find in nature.” This one might also be about the glory of dawn breaking from the charcoal and gray-blue of a night sky into the wonder of multi-colored blossoms twining at your window. The mix of commercial and hand-dyed fabrics is pieced and hand quilted in stitches so small and even that grandmother would be awestruck. Quilt measures 64 inches high by 68 inches wide. |
