Detailed Description:
ALLURING, by award-winning artist Leandra Spangler, is a vessel of twined, round reed, covered with artist-made, cotton paper, paint, spinners, beads and waxed linen. Completed in 2004, this one-of-a-kind piece is part of the show "Layers, Layers, Layers" a special Bluestem Missouri Crafts presentation in conjunction with the International Surface Design Association’s “MIND + BODY” Conference held in Kansas City. It measures 13" high x 11" wide in one direction and 9" wide in the other direction. |
